How are you enjoying August so far? Do you have any end of summer plans? We haven’t made it to the beach yet so hopefully we’ll do that this weekend. It’s only a two hour drive but it’s always a nice and relaxing way to spend a day.
Speaking of ways to spend a day, last Friday I needed a change in scenery so my husband and I decided to take a drive in the country. I wanted ice cream but instead we ended up at a local farm and did some shopping. I shared on Instagram ( ) some fresh produce I bought for under $8.00. The green peppers were the biggest I have ever seen and were only 75 cents each. I made stuffed peppers ( ) with them and they were huge and delicious and there were no leftovers.
If you like to shop at farmers markets today I’m sharing 13 Farmers Market Recipes ( ) to Make in August.

One of my goals this year is to be more organized so that I don’t get that awful feeling of overwhelm. To combat that I’m doing meal prep, including freezing meals, so that on busy days I don’t have to be anxious about dinner or throw up my hands and eat out and then feel guilty for wasting money.
You can join me next week for a free event that covers meal planning plus freezer cooking.
You can sign up HERE ( ) (you’ll need to RSVP to take part but it’s FREE!) There are lots of options including gluten free, clean eating, Instant Pot cooking, Slow Cooking, and more.
