Simple Indoor 4th of July Decor, Easy to Print 4th of July Printables, a Giveaway (win up to $1000) and More

How have you been this summer? My kids have been busy but other than the same old, same old, I haven’t done anything fun. I am hoping to get a vacation in before the end of summer but that being said, I can’t believe it’s already July. How did that happen?
My youngest son came home Friday from his first summer camp of the year and my middle son came home on Saturday after being gone for almost a month.
I used the time while they were both away to do some painting. It seems like when I paint and the house is full, I’m just asking for trouble as someone inevitably brushes up against a wall or door so this time, I planned ahead.
I painted the 1990’s oak paneling in the bathroom, painted the medicine cabinet and the vanity, and spray painted the original 1970’s bathroom mirror. I’ll be sharing pictures soon. I really like how it all turned out. It was one of those pull the bandaid off quick moments. I knew if I was going to do it, this was my window of opportunity so I took it. I used paint I had on hand which was nice because other than paintbrushes and a toilet paper holder, I had everything I needed. I also painted all the bedroom doors and the bathroom door and added new doorknobs so there was some unity in the space and my total cost for everything was under $50.00. I got a great deal on the doorknobs at Lowe’s and they were under $8.00 each after using Rakuten ( ) and the automatic discount Lowe’s applied for buying 3 or more, so that was a nice bonus.
I also learned a valuable lesson since we last chatted. I commented on one of my son’s vacation photos on IG and he told me he deleted it. Oh, it’s so nice to be in this phase of parenting *wink*.
Speaking of IG, I have been sharing videos over there and my most recent one pretty much sums up my day-to-day life. If you’d like to follow me over ( ) there that would be awesome and leave a comment on one of my photos or videos and I’ll follow you back. It will be a nice way to connect.
Will you be celebrating the 4th of July this upcoming week? If so, I have a new recipe for an easy-to-make side dish ( ) that goes great with burgers, chicken, and pork, a giveaway ( )where you can win up to $1000.00, and some free 4th of July printables that are new today and you can get those here ( ) (search for 4th of July Printables).
